FREE to the public, and one of the best bluegrass festivals in Arizona, the Porter Barn Wood 4th Annual Bluegrass Festival and Open House is a great time to enjoy quality music, great food, and meet the people that build at Porter Barn Wood. Thomas & Emy Porter would like to welcome you and your family to join us for a great time. We will have food trucks provided by Get Local Arizona Events, plenty of tables for dining and listening, and wonderful music from morning until night. In addition to the lineup of bluegrass artists we will have an instrument petting zoo for the kids, jamming areas and woodworking activities and demonstrations. The show starts at 10am, and we’ll be picking until 8pm. Come and tour Porter Barn Wood’s workshop and materials. Don’t miss this event! Tenth Annual Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off

On Saturday, admission is free. At 10:00 am, Ranch gates open and lunch tickets ($15 per ticket) go on sale! These tickets go quick and can only purchased on site on Saturday. Check out the cooking team competition and get yourself a plate of the best chuck wagon meals in the state!
Meals are served at noon, for one hour.

On the stage, Old Blue Band will play bluegrass the old fashioned way. You can also watch the Maricopa 4-H Cloggers and stop in to the Lil Rustlers Camp for western themed kids' activities, puppet show, children's authors, face painting, trick roping lessons and more! The event includes various food vendors and other western inspired vendors. At 1:00 pm, check out the Gidgee Gang's Aussie Bush Kitchen demonstration, a cooking team from Queensland, Australia. The day wraps up with competition awards ceremony at 2:00 pm.

Youth ages 10-15, want to learn how to make great food over the campfire? Check out our Junior Campers Cooking Clinic on Sunday, November 10, 11:30 am. Registration is required.

Sunscreen with you to protect you and the little ones
Any medications that you might need so there isn't an unsuspected reason to depart early
Strollers and wheelchairs are not available so please bring one along if needed
Cash - our front gate only takes cash. However, we do have ATM's available on site
